Foundation Desire (Romania)

I am envisioning and practicing a political activism against the intersectional systems of oppression of capitalism (class exploitation, patriarchy, racism, sexism). This activism is informed by a type of knowledge production and public sociology, which contributes to enable the exploited and dispossessed people to articulate their demands in relation with actors who occupy the power positions that control the means of production and distribution of resources at the crossroads of local, national and global dominant social classes. Involved into actions against the ghettoization of impoverished ethnic Roma to activism for housing justice for the dispossessed, I am part of an antiracist struggle for social justice materialized in the local movement from the city of Cluj Căși sociale ACUM!/ Social housing NOW!, in the Romanian national platform Block for housing, and in the European Action Coalition for the Right to Housing and Right to the City.
