Nyanza Rift Valley and Western Kenya LGBTI Network (Kenya)
I am a human right defender from Nyanza Rift Valley and Western Kenya LGBTIQ Network under Security and Protection department. My role is to report, document and asses all the human rights violations and abuses based on the perceived sexual orientation and gender identity within my region. I have been motivated to carry out my work after most of the SOGIE person were being physically assaulted, arrested, murdered, rejected and evicted from their homes and work places because of who they are, I witnessed the violation and this realy made me to start fighting for their spaces,protecting and defending then by reaching to different stakeholders through force field analysis to identify who can support our work, who will oppose us and the unknown forces and sensitize them on the human rights issues for the SOGIE.
